Caramel Corn

15 cups popped corn ½ tsp. Salt
1 cup brown sugar ½ tsp soda
½ cup margarine or butter
¼ cup light corn syrup

Heat oven to 200 – 250 degrees F. Heat sugar, butter, corn syrup an salt, stirring occasionally until bubbly around edges. Continue cooking over medium heat 5 min. Remove from heat. Stir in soda until foamy. Pour over popped corn and stir until corn is coated. Place in roaster in oven – half in lid & half in bottom and bake at 200-250 degrees for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes to separate kernels. Turn out on wax paper. Separate any kernels stuck together and allow to cool
