Ingredients:
2 cups boiling water
2 cups natural bran (used All-Bran without any issues)
1 cup cooking oil
2 ½ cups white sugar
4 eggs
1 qt Buttermilk (or sour skim milk) (4 Cups)
5 cups flour
3 Tablespoons baking soda
4 cups All-Bran
Dates or raisins (used 2 cups)
Preparation Instructions:
1. Combine boiling water and bran in a bowl. Mix and let cool.
2. Combine remaining ingredients
3. Keeps well in frig.
4. Put into muffin cups and bake at 350F for 20 minutes.
